What Is Bulldog Leaf Guard?
Bulldog Leaf Guard is a durable, hole-punched aluminum cover that fits over your existing gutters to help keep debris out while allowing rainwater to flow through. Acting like a protective “lid” for your gutters, it reduces clogs and helps your system work more efficiently.
This punched-aluminum design is especially effective at blocking medium to large debris such as leaves and twigs while still allowing water to drain properly. The ridges slow down the rainwater as it crosses the gutter to prevent overflow.

We’ve been installing Bulldog Leaf Guard on residential homes for years, and the results have been very positive. In a period of 4+ years, not a single customer has reported being unhappy with the product overall.
Like any gutter protection system, performance can vary depending on roof design. In a small number of cases (fewer than 5 installations), very heavy rain in specific problem areas overwhelmed the system. Installation Works
When Gecko Gutter installs Bulldog Leaf Guard, we screw it directly onto the gutter for maximum strength and stability. It is installed flat across the top to stay securely in place.
We do not install Bulldog or any gutter guard underneath your shingles. Inserting products under shingles can damage the starter course (the outermost row of shingles) and may void roof or shingle warranties. Our process of installing directly to the gutter and fascia avoids these issues, and protects your roofing system.
